Originally from the Northern Virginia area, Candy and her family relocated to this area and love it!  She graduated with honors from Bridgewater College in 1993 with a degree in Health Science.  There she was a part of the Athletic Training Program for all four years.  Upon graduation, she went on as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Radford University.  While there, she completed her Masters degree with honors in Physical Education, with a concentration in Sports Medicine.  At the completion of her degree, she went on to work as a high school Athletic Trainer for 11 years before joining In Touch Therapy.  She recently returned to school and graduated with a Physical Therapy Assistant degree.  While attending Nash Community College she received a scholarship based on her academic and clinical performances.  Candy is licensed by the State of Virginia to practice as both a Physical Therapy Assistant and a Certified Athletic Trainer.  When not at In Touch Therapy, Candy enjoys spending time with her two boys.
